Our story

Agist It is the answer to the growing need for a national agistment network that connects graziers and land owners with each other in a modern, easy and effective way. This network breaks down the traditional social, time and distance barriers that limit successful agistment connections.

Additionally, we observed that the increasing fragmentation of productive working farms into smaller parcels that are often left idle or under-utilised, created an opportunity to provide additional support for property owners who would like to utilise their land but might not have the contacts, know-how or time to do so. Agist It helps clients feel informed, secure and confident that they can make the right connections.

With the evolution of digital technology and the ease of creating an online support network, Agist It was born. We overcome the barriers of distance and knowledge to create a large network that makes agistment easy, and available to everyone.

Our mission is clear:

“Agist It can help measurably improve the environment and increase profitability via better grazing and property management opportunities.”

It’s a true ‘win-win’ for all involved.

Our aim

To facilitate the aggregation of smaller properties and help to manage them in a sustainable, regenerative way

It’s a common sight within a few hundred kilometres of a population centre to see traditionally large productive farms being subdivided into smaller hobby or lifestyle blocks. Unfortunately many of these blocks are under utilised, or lay idle due to the new owners not being connected to the network of service providers that could help them optimise, or even improve the land they have become custodians of.

By aggregating these properties under one management system and allowing graziers to agist and rotate their stock between these properties, the economies of scale return and fully utilise the land.

Here at Agist It, we aim to utilise as many of the Regenerative Agricultural practices as we can to help to improve the land we all live on and rely on.

Our team

As the founders of Agist It we have always had a passion for the land and the environment and that’s what underpins everything we do.

We surround ourselves with people who know and understand technology and those who know the land. We are always keen to learn and listen to their stories and opinions as to how we can make Agist It Australia’s leading agistment directory.
